Not having a very religious background, I tended to learn about the holidays my own way, and for me, the Easter Story will always be told this way:
Yeah...it's a little out there, but that was 40 years ago, and no one has yet to do it any better than Mr. Neeley and Mr. Anderson.
That brought back some memories. Have a wonderful ay with your family, however you celebrate it.
ReplyDeleteI came at religion from the blind too. Even having become more dogmatic, I still don't know or fully understand many things, mostly dealing with some holidays. This one I have down though. I've decided I don't always have to understand. Happy Easter anywhile.
ReplyDeleteAs for the show? Would you believe I saw that in school? They had the troupe (of the time) in to perform for us. I haven't seen it since, but I have some enamor for it when I hear the tunes.
I saw the original cast before they play was produced! They toured, played the music and sang the songs.
